S 2's are very well known for their solid hull construction durable non skid decks and oversized standing rigging. S 2's are nimble upwind performer, and very spirited off the wind, she is a sure footed rugged vessel in heavy conditions. The owner has been transferred after investing hours of labor into upgrading the boat. The boat was repowered in 2002 Yanmar 3gm30 freshwater cooled motor with only 1329 hrs. cooling system redone in 2022 new shaft , shaft coupling and cutlass bearing with dripless seal 4/23 with fresh bottom paint and oil and filter change too , bilge pump and dock lines replaced as well . owner installed a new vhf and chart plotter 4/23 to complete the upgrades
