S 2's are very well known for their solid hull construction durable non skid decks and oversized standing rigging. S 2's are nimble upwind performer, and very spirited off the wind, she is a sure footed rugged vessel in heavy conditions.  The owner has been transferred after investing hours of labor into upgrading the boat.  It is in near Bristol condition.  The boat was repowered in 2002 Yanmar 3gm30 freshwater cooled motor with only 1168 hrs.
