The Kalik 40, similar to the Concept 40, was designed by naval architect Gary Mull. She has a fin keel and spade rudder for swiftness, agility, extended cruising and comfortable local PNW yachting. This vessel was designed for ocean cruising. She is very comfortable for two to four people, and offers a vast amount of below deck storage.
She was repowered with a 52hp Yanmar diesel engine for economy and reliability. In addtion, the teak decks were removed, repaired, and reinstalled with glue. She sports excellent headroom of 6'4". These features alone make this vessel a solid value for economical cruising.
