GREAT OPPORTUNITY! Here is a chance to snag a true saltwater gem that has been well cared for and is ready for adventure. Motivated seller is looking to find THETIS her new home, don't miss out. Just had a recent service and is ready to catch those fair winds and travel.
THETIS is from the designs of Stan Huntingford, one of Northwest’s classic designers. She was built in Taiwan with a solid fiberglass hull and teak interior. The boat is in exceptional condition and any updates and repairs were done professionally. The heavy displacement hull with good sails and cutter rig makes her ideal for long-distance cruising. A newer Westerbeke diesel engine (2008) with low hours, takes over in the lulls when light conditions move in. She looks traditional and is, but THETIS is in great condition. If you like the style and feel of a traditional sailboat, but want to avoid any major projects, come and take a look. THETIS has to be seen to fully appreciate the condition and solid nature of this vessel.
Accommodations
Starting at the bow is a V berth area that has been modified into a double on the port side and seat to starboard. Next aft on the port side is the head and sink (no shower), a hanging locker, and a bank of drawers to starboard.
Next aft is the main salon. A dinette area with a table is to port and galley aft. On center on the main bulkhead is a diesel cabin heater. On the starboard side is a pilot berth with storage under and bookshelves above. Next aft is the navigation station and quarter berth farther aft. The main salon in the center has standing headroom of 6’ 5”. On center aft is the companion ladder to the cockpit and engine access to a low-hour Westerbeke diesel engine that was replaced in 2008. The galley is equipped with an ice box and separate deep storage for utensils. The stove is a two-burner kerosene model with an oven. There is also more than adequate storage above and under counters with cupboards and drawers. To port is the navigation station/chart table with plenty of storage for charts and other publications.

THETIS is from the designs of Stan Huntingford, one of Northwest’s classic designers. She was built in Taiwan with a solid fiberglass hull and teak interior. Her present owner of over 20 years is a master craftsman with professional boat-building experience. He has endeavored to keep things as simple as designed. Updates and repairs were professionally done as close inspection will reveal. The boat is in exceptional condition. The heavy displacement hull with good sails and cutter rig makes her ideal for long-distance cruising. A new Westerbeke diesel engine takes over in the lulls when light conditions move in. She looks traditional and is. The main difference is she is in shipshape condition and is not a hull full of projects. If you like the look of boats of tradition and aren’t looking for a project THETIS may be just what you are looking for. She has to be seen to be appreciated.
